This policy describes how Softworks Trading Company LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, handles information collected on softworkstrading.com. We collect as little as the site needs to function.
What we collect
- Contact details you choose to submit through the concierge chat or contact forms: name, email address, company, and your note to us.
- Chat messages you send to the concierge. These are processed to generate a reply and are not used to train models by us.
- Standard technical data used to operate and protect the site, including IP addresses used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
- Billing details when you become a client: name, email address, and the records of your invoices and payments. Card numbers are collected and processed by our payment provider, not by us.
We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and carry on the conversation you started.
- To operate the concierge chat and generate responses.
- To invoice for and administer client engagements.
- To prevent fraud, resolve payment disputes, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
- To protect the site from abuse.
Chat data
The site chat is powered by a third-party language model service. Messages you send in the chat are transmitted to that service to generate a reply. Do not share confidential or sensitive information in the chat. For confidential matters, leave a note through the feedback form on the homepage and we will arrange a private channel.
Service providers
We use a small number of processors to run this site and our business: hosting and content delivery, an AI gateway and model provider for the concierge chat, a form service for storing inquiries, a team messaging service for notifying us of new inquiries, a captcha service for abuse prevention, and Stripe for payment processing and invoicing. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function. Stripe handles card data under its own privacy policy and security certifications.
Retention
Inquiry records are retained for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and maintain ordinary business records, then deleted. Invoicing and payment records are retained as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted by leaving a request through the feedback form on the homepage or in the site chat. We will honor such requests except for records we are required to keep for tax, accounting, or legal reasons.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page, with the date of the current version shown above.
